Purpose To ensure that our customer service both before and after sales is to an excellent standard. To effectively supervise associates and support the Sales Manager General Manager in all aspects of performance management sales maximisation stock integrity shrink and store standards. Responsibilities To ensure all customers receive excellent service as measured by the mystery shop. Resolve customer requests and complaints in an efficient manner. Manage and maintain all procedures in accordance with the standards manual. Set and review individual and departmental sales objectives monitor progress and communicate results to the Sales Manager. To provide associates with adequate training for their roles. To implement a rota for all associates on a timely basis. Ensure that all associates comply with health and safety responsibilities. Perform the duty manager role in accordance with the standards manual. Liaise with the Sales Manager and communicate all internal issues that affect the running of the store. Sales Floor Processes Manage and maintain all cash office procedures in accordance with the loss prevention manual. Ensure the timely completion of price changes and follow the correct procedure for the completion of Sku check logs. Maintain store presentation standards in accordance with the standards manual. Maintain plan-o-gram integrity in the Office Supplies and Business Machines departments. Ensure a pull down schedule is created and adhered to. Effectively manage the presentation and sale of clearance items. To create and maintain a sales culture within the store. Achievement of targets relating to the sales floor. Evening and weekend shifts form an intregal part of the role as do a positive attitude and a sense of hunour Salary circa ?16K per annum benefits.
