It Operations Service Desk Support Engineer (North london)
Recent major new customer wins has created an opportunity for an It Service Support Desk Engineer to work within our Operations team. The role would include taking responsibility for providing It support and problem solving to our customers. This is your chance to work with the latest devices and market leading capabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking ownership of technical application related and administrative problems that our customers encounter. The emphasis is on providing a high level of customer service through email and phone communication whilst being able to work in a team to meet project deadlines. This role is based from our London offices in EC1 and is on a shift system that gives the opportunity to work from home. Please Note Excellent verbal and Written English is required as the support desk engineer will be at the forefront of dealing with customer enquiries. Candidates will be seriously considered where their Cv highlights specific experience in the following areas Good academic background to at least degree level Experience within It Software Support Working in a constrained environment such as Windows mobile Pda devices Ability to analyse problems and to implement solutions in a fast paced environment Responsible for presenting a customer focused approach within the company Demonstration of good methodical analytical and clear approach to troubleshooting problems Project management abilities and professional attitude at all times Priority for interview will be given to candidates who can show high level of achievement in the following High level of Technical It skills in Networking Remote access Hardware Mobile technology experience and knowledge Ability to contribute to the team providing solutions and initiative to increase productivity within the Operations department Excellent level of communication skills and willingness to learn and bring new ideas to the table Microsoft Windows and Server experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills will be required Knowledge of Sql Database and report management Desirable Some programming knowledge in web development such as Html Css Xml Quality assurance and software testing Just sending your Cv is likely to disqualify you.
