Development Team Leader Developer (Watford, Hertfordshire)

Based in Watford Hertfordshire we are currently looking for a full time Development Team Manager part-time Developer to join our forward thinking team. Based in our office you will be working with a small friendly and vibrant company which is at the forefront in its chosen industry. The successful candidate will be highly motivated and be able to hit the ground running in a fast and exciting development environment. You will have at least 2 years commercial experience and a proven track record of managing a project from inception to completion. A varied role is on offer and you should be able to- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and the processes required to be in place and followed for the release of products Work well under pressure in a fast paced environment Maintain an environment oriented to trust open communication creative thinking and cohesive team effort and help keep the team focused and on track Facilitate problem solving and collaboration Co-ordinate with internal management and external customers as necessary and familiarise the team with the customer needs specifications design targets the development process and assure that the team addresses all relevant issues within the specifications and various standards Serve as meeting manager and initiate sub-groups or sub-teams as appropriate to resolve issues and perform tasks in parallel Ensure deliverables are prepared to satisfy the project requirements cost and schedule Provide status reporting of team activities against the program plan or schedule Keep other departments informed of task accomplishment issues and status In return you will be offered a competitive salary and a benefits package which includes 20 days holiday plus bank holidays Private health All applicants must be residents in the UK and eligible to work without a permit.
