Network Administrator It Support part-time (W2)

We need in-house It support for about 20 hours a week. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast growing dynamic team where you will be able to bring real value to our business and clients. You will run our network and manage our hardware and desktop software. You ll look after routine requests like my computer doesn t work and I can t get on the internet as well as researching and applying new practices. Taking care of data is our single highest priority. Our office Lan is relatively straightforward runs on Windows 2003 Server with around 40 Pc and Mac clients running Windows Xp Windows Vista Business and Mac Os X. Microsoft Exchange Blackberry and iphone services are all outsourced so you won t need detailed experience in these. You ll need to be familiar with Pcs and Macs. You ll find us an advocate of cloud computing always trying out new technologies and experimenting internally so you ll be expected to try new things out and help us navigate through new technologies as part of your role. You will be expected to have a good understanding of desktop support and all the associated tasks and an enthusiasm to learn and keep up with new developments. The successful candidate will be experienced in building and configuring computers setting up Windows connecting them to a network and performing general It support.
