Summary Role We are currently looking for an Asp.Net Web and database developer with excellent Web and Ui design skills to join our team. The ideal candidate must be a strong developer capable of developing .Net solutions that use Design Patterns and best practices with a test-driven approach. The candidate must also have excellent communication and time management skills with a strong ability to communicate in both technical and non-technical environments. The candidate must also demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines work in a fast paced environment and have a desire to learn. Qualifications Education Required Degree in computing or a numerate subject. Experience Required Microsoft Sql Server Database design and analysis Asp.Net (C#.Net Vb.Net JavaScript Html Css Visual Studio Stored procedures triggers Sql replication Udfs performance optimization Xml Xslt Microsoft Windows Server administration Experience Preferred Use of source control tools like Cvs or Subversion Use of Design Patterns (Gang of Four Model-View-Controller etc Experience using and or designing Content Management Systems Web Services Oracle Ms Access and Ms Exchange Server 2000 experience a bonus Java C++ a bonus Main Duties and Responsibilities Assist in the design and implementation of a Content Management System (Cms Work closely with editorial analysts and management to build a good understanding of requirements bring forward strong ideas and integrate legacy systems with the Cms. Design and build widgets in .Net using web services to be used within the Cms. Administer and troubleshoot Web and Database Servers. Secondary Duties and Responsibilities Assist with the management and administration of internal network and tools. Assist with support on internal operations. Deal as necessary with operational issues. Research various technical concepts for future application integration.
