This primary school based in Lewisham require an administrator to join their team. The purpose of the role is to be responsible for the provision of an efficient administrative and clerical support function for the school payroll and personnel function and to assist with financial management. The principal accountabilities are to be responsible for the smooth running of the school office assisting with the recruitment and selection process of staff maintaining the various school computerised databases of pupil and staff information and to manage the payroll and personnel functions and assist with maintenance of financial systems. It is essential that applicants have previous experience of supervision and administration in a similar public sector environment and of staff recruitment and selection. The ability to work to agreed targets and strong communication and organisation skills are also important. Previous experience of using school systems such as Walton Samuel or Sims is desirable.
